In commemoration of International Women’s Day 2026, the Business and Financial Times (B&FT) has unveiled a special collage spotlighting women who are driving growth and transformation across Ghana’s economy.
The curated visual feature brings together accomplished women from diverse sectors including finance, technology, agribusiness, manufacturing, health, entrepreneurship and so on highlighting their contributions to innovation, leadership and national development.
The initiative aligns with this year’s IWD theme, which calls for accelerated action toward gender equality and equity and increased recognition of women’s role in shaping sustainable economies.
Through the collage, B&FT seeks not only to celebrate excellence but also to amplify the visibility of women whose work continues to break barriers and inspire the next generation.
As Ghana pushes for inclusive economic growth, the role of women remains pivotal. From boardrooms to farms, laboratories to marketplaces, women are contributing significantly to productivity, job creation and resilience across key sectors.
