Through her visionary approach and transformative leadership style, she has propelled Media General to the forefront of both domestic and international competition, solidifying its reputation as a leading brand.

From the outset, she embraced the challenge of mastering the workings of news reporting, anchoring, news analysis, and current affairs. Her journey to excellence was enriched by immersive tours and training programmes at media giants including the BBC (UK), CNN (Atlanta), VOA (Washington, D.C), Sky TV (UK), and Citizen and Kiss TV Kenya. These experiences not only honed her skills but also instilled in her a deep understanding of the industry’s best practices and standards.

As a major anchor for TV3’s flagship Evening News bulletin, she covered prestigious international conferences such as the African Union (AU) Summit in Ethiopia (2010), the ECOWAS Summit in Togo (2009), and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development – UNCTAD (2008).

As the producer of Business Time, Headlines, and Hot Issues on TV3, she prioritized in-depth reporting that held policymakers accountable and responsive in critical areas such as human security, trade, women’s empowerment, equitable distribution of national resources, and infrastructural development, while also interviewing influential personalities like former Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and then    Ghanaian Presidents John Agyekum Kufuor and John Dramani Mahama.

In 2013, she was elevated to the position of Managing News Editor, orchestrating the assembly of a formidable team that garnered myriad local and international awards, thereby elevating TV3’s news and current affairs analysis programmes to influential heights in shaping public discourse.

Subsequently, in 2016, owing to her dedication and hard work, she was entrusted with the role of Chief Operating Officer for TV3. In this capacity, she spearheaded a comprehensive company-wide restructuring initiative in 2017. Leveraging her exceptional ability to motivate and inspire both junior and senior colleagues, she strategically positioned Media General as a pivotal player in the ever-evolving media landscape.

Following her tenure as Chief Operating Officer, she was subsequently appointed as General Manager of MGTV, assuming oversight of TV3 and Onua TV. Her versatility and proven track record led to her additional role as the Head of MG Digital, a subsidiary of the esteemed Media General Group, where she served with distinction for a minimum of one year.

In 2018, she led the establishment of Onua TV, orchestrating its development and eventual launch on August 10, 2019, marking a significant milestone in Media General’s expansion efforts.

Moreover, in 2017, she assumed the role of General Manager for MG Radio, overseeing stations including 3FM 92.7 and Onua FM 95.1 in Accra, Connect FM 97.1 in Takoradi, and Akoma FM 87.9 in Kumasi.

Furthermore, in 2018, she was appointed as Group Chief Executive Officer of Media General, entrusted with the strategic direction of the conglomerate comprising nine subsidiaries spanning radio, television, and digital platforms across the Greater Accra, Ashanti, and Western regions.

Under her leadership, Media General’s premier TV station, TV3, has achieved unparalleled success, solidifying its position as Ghana’s most-viewed TV channel. Simultaneously, Connect FM in the Western Region has continuously held the title of number one radio station for many consecutive years. TV3’s social media presence on platforms like Facebook and Twitter has soared to unprecedented heights. These outstanding accomplishments underscore the strategic vision and relentless pursuit of excellence that have defined her tenure at Media General.

In 2020, she had the privilege of being chosen as the keynote speaker during the prestigious congregation of the University of Professional Studies (UPSA), a renowned institution revered for its commitment to skills training and capacity building in human resources, leadership, and management. She also served as the Special Guest of honour at the 13th Congregation of the Ghana Institute of Journalism in Accra, and has been honoured with similar invitations from other prestigious institutions.

She takes great pride in her accomplishments, having received numerous accolades and leading Media General to achieve remarkable milestones. These include being bestowed with Glitz Africa’s Ghana Women of the Year Honours in the Excellence in Media Category (2020), being recognized as the Outstanding Broadcast Media CEO of the Year in both 2021 and 2023 by the esteemed Ghana Entrepreneur & Corporate Executive Awards, receiving the Woman of the Year Award from EMY Africa in 2023, being honoured with the prestigious Female CEO of the Year Award at the 2023/2024/2025 Ghana Business Awards and the Outstanding Corporate Woman CEO of the Year 2024 awards.

She has remained unfaltering in her commitment to personal growth and development, actively pursuing educational opportunities to enhance her skills and knowledge. In 2020, she obtained certificates in Growth Strategies and Women in Leadership from the respected Harvard Extension School, solidifying her expertise in strategic leadership and gender empowerment. Before this, in 2019, she completed a course in Strategic Management at the Africa Training Institute (ATI) in South Africa, further refining her abilities in organizational strategy and decision-making. Also, she underwent training in Leadership based on John Maxwell Principles at the Centre for Transformational Leadership Africa (CTL), consolidating her leadership capabilities and visionary approach.

As a Deutsche Welle and Reuters-trained journalist, she possesses a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Marketing from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
