Arsenal legend Robert Pires has declared Belgian-born Ghanaian winger Jeremy Doku as his top pick in the Premier League, citing his superior technical skills, dribbling ability, and creativity over Bukayo Saka.
Despite Saka’s impressive record of 20 goals and 14 assists last season, Pires believes Doku, who made 29 appearances, scored 3 goals, and assisted 8, is the more complete player.
In an interview with Wettbasis, Pires explained, “Bukayo still lacks a certain level of consistency and experience, especially in the big games. Perhaps this season, especially in the Champions League, he will show a more convincing face than last season when it counts.”
Pires continued, “For example, in my opinion, Jeremy Doku from Manchester City is a bit better because he is technically stronger, has better dribbling skills, and is more imaginative.”
Doku has already made three appearances for Manchester City this season, further solidifying his status as a rising star in the Premier League.
