Ghanaian actor cum Politician, John Dumelo has reacted to reports of a security man at the University of Ghana campus.
According to him, it has been alleged at the MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon, hon. Lydia Alhassan has threatened to fire the security man from his job.
This happened after the security man was recorded saying that for the eight years Lydia was in power, this is the first time he decided to give her a small bag of rice and oil. He made it clear that that will not influence him to vote for her.
Reacting to this, John Dumelo wrote; “I have received reports that the Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon has met and allegedly threatened a security officer at the University of Ghana, Legon. The officer, seen in a video stating that the rice and oil distributed by the MP would not influence his vote, is reportedly being pressured to retract his statement or risk losing his job. I urge voters to reject such intimidation. This is a university community, and individuals must have the courage to stand against oppression.
