Ghana and Crystal Palace forward, Jordan Ayew, has returned to training with Crystal Palace after testing positive for COVID-19 during the October international break with the Black Stars.

The 29-year-old after featuring for Ghana against Mali and Qatar received a positive COVID result immediately after he returned to England. He isolated for ten days according to protocols in the UK.

Jordan missed two matches in his period of isolation; Palace’s 1-1 draw at home against Brighton and their 2-1 win over newly promoted Fulham last weekend in the Premier League.

The London club in a statement on their website confirmed his recovery and has been included in their squad to face Wolverhampton tomorrow at 8:00 PM.

“… following positive COVID-19 tests, Jordan Ayew and Jack Butland are both available and amongst the squad following their periods of self-isolation.”

His return will be in handy for the Black Stars, who will take on Sudan in November, in a 2022 double-header AFCON qualifier matches.
