(Photo by Lee Keuneke/PA Images via Getty Images)Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew featured for just one minute as Leicester City played out a goalless draw with Watford in their Championship clash on Saturday, in what was his final club outing before linking up with the national team.The Ghanaian forward was introduced in the dying moments of the game but had little time to influence proceedings as the Foxes were held to a stalemate.Ayew will now turn his attention to international duty, having been named in Otto Addo’s squad for Ghana’s upcoming pre-World Cup friendlies against Austria and Germany.Ayew has recorded five goals and three assists in 38 appearances for Leicester this season as they push for promotion back to the Premier League. The result leaves Leicester in third place in the Championship standings.Ghana will face Austria in Vienna on March 27 before travelling to Stuttgart to take on Germany three days later, crucial preparation matches ahead of the 2026 World Cup, where the Black Stars have been drawn in Group L alongside England, Croatia, and Panama.
