As Ghana Month celebrations gather momentum across the country, JOY FM has unveiled an exciting experiential getaway designed to reconnect audiences with the beauty of home — the JOY FM Safari Experience.
The carefully curated three-day, two-night adventure will take selected listeners and patrons out of the city and into some of Ghana’s most serene eco-tourism destinations: Safari Valley Eco Park in Adukrom and Aqua Safari Resort in Ada.
More than a trip, organisers describe it as a reset — a chance to breathe, bond and rediscover Ghana beyond traffic, deadlines and screens.
Nature, wellness and discovery in Adukrom
The journey begins in the lush Eastern Region at Safari Valley Eco Park — Ghana’s fast-rising conservation and wellness destination tucked into the Akuapem ridge.

Participants will experience:
Wildlife viewing in open natural habitats
Kayaking and cycling trails
Guided nature walks
Wellness and relaxation sessions
Campfire conversations with JOY FM presenters

Away from studio microphones and city rush, the setting offers listeners rare access to interact freely with their favourite radio personalities — in sneakers instead of studio headsets.

Adventure and serenity by the Volta in Ada
The experience then flows to the banks of the Volta River at Aqua Safari Resort in Ada, where calm waters meet a coastal breeze.
Here, guests will enjoy:
Boat cruises on the Volta estuary
Water sports and outdoor games
Evening bonfire and music sessions
Cultural storytelling and Ghana Month reflections
Relaxed networking with the JOY FM family
Radio beyond the speakers
The Safari Experience reflects JOY FM’s growing shift from broadcast to lived brand experience — bringing audiences physically into the community the station has built over the years.
For many listeners, the station has long been a companion in traffic, at work and at home. This time, it becomes a travel partner — sharing sunrise walks, riverside laughter and unfiltered conversations.
According to the organisers, Ghana Month is not only about history and heritage but also about appreciating the country’s landscapes, hospitality and tourism potential.
And what better way to celebrate Ghana than to experience it together?
The JOY FM Safari Experience promises memories — not just moments — and proves that sometimes the best radio is the one you don’t just hear… you live.
