The Member of Parliament for Juaben Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Hon Ama Pomaa Boateng, has donated 150 tablets to bolster digital transformation in her constituency and rallied support for the NPP Presidential Candidate Dr Bawumia for the upcoming general elections.

Speaking at a brief event at the Municipal Education Directorate, Hon. Pomaa Boateng emphasized the importance of enhancing the digital literacy of students at three primary schools: Abetenem MA, Dumakwai MA, and Juaben Methodist Basic Schools.

She expressed her commitment to equipping the youth with the necessary skills to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

“This donation is part of a broader effort to empower our students and ensure they are well-prepared for the future,” she stated.

This initiative follows last year’s successful Robotics training program, which she funded for 120 students in Juaben.

Additionally, she provided smartwatches and smartphones to participants, further demonstrating her commitment to fostering technological skills among the youth.

Miss Phyllis Boateng, the Municipal Director of Education, expressed gratitude for the MP’s contributions.

She highlighted Hon. Pomaa Boateng’s previous efforts, including the establishment of the Pomaa Tech Club and the support provided to local ICT centers with STEM kits.

“These contributions are essential for fostering continuous practice and creating opportunities for more children to engage with ICT programs,” she noted.

Nana Nti Yeboah, the Chief of Dumakwai, commended the MP for her steadfast commitment to the community, despite not seeking re-election in the upcoming polls. “When you lost the primaries, I feared your promises would fade away.

However, you have honored your commitments, demonstrating leadership that is truly admirable,” the Chief remarked.
In her closing remarks, Hon. Pomaa Boateng encouraged her constituents to vote for the NPP to ensure the continuation of the digital transformation agenda initiated by the government.

She stated, “This donation is part of our larger initiative to digitally transform Ghana’s economy. Supporting the NPP in the upcoming elections is crucial for this vision to be realized.”

Additionally, she made a monetary donation of 20,000 cedis to the Education Directorate and an undisclosed amount to the three beneficiary schools, further solidifying her dedication to educational advancement in the Juaben community.

As the election approaches, her efforts exemplify a dedication not only to her constituents but also to the broader goal of advancing educational and technological opportunities in Ghana.
