Ghanaian gospel sensation Kofi Owusu Duah Anto, popularly known as KODA, is reportedly dead.
According to a citinewswroom.com report, a source close to the family confirmed the news to GhanaWeekend that the popular gospel musician succumbed to a short illness in the early hours of Sunday, April 21.
A well-known personality in the Ghanaian gospel industry, KODA was a multi-talented singer noted for his soulful voice, record production, and songwriting skills.
“Keteke,” his most recent album, was well-received both critically and commercially when it was released in January 2021.
His music is filled with messages of optimism and resilience, and he is known for his contagious energy.
It is anticipated that the family will soon provide details regarding the cause of his illness and funeral arrangements.
