Accra Hearts of Oak suffered a second consecutive defeat in the Ghana Premier League this season after succumbing to a Justice Blay lone goal to lose to Medeama SC in Tarkwa.
The Mauve and Yellow picked a 1-0 win in the round 12 fixture on Thursday afternoon to move above the Phobians on the league table.
Blay scored in the 50th minute from close-range as a result of a set-piece to fire his side back to winning ways after a 2-0 defeat to Karela United over the weekend.
The win sends Samuel Boadu’s side to 9th on the Ghana Premier League table with 17 points while the Phobians sink a place below with 16 points without a win in their last three games.
Hearts of Oak will play Legon Cities at home, while Medeama play as guests to King Faisal in week 13 over the weekend.
