Justin took a small blow to the back of the head. He has to go through the protocol, Hoene said on Thursday.Though the injury isnt serious, club doctors will monitor his recovery carefully, with no rush to bring him back before hes fully cleared. He’s fine and he’s already doing a lot, Hoene added, referring to Diehls ongoing individual training. The 20-year-old wont be in the squad for this weekends game against FC St. Pauli, as the coaching staff prioritizes his long-term health. Diehl had just returned to training after missing several weeks due to injury, making this latest delay a frustrating but necessary pause in his comeback.
