Accra came alive in the early hours of December 31, 2025, as award-winning Ghanaian musician King Promise delivered a thrilling edition of his much-anticipated PromiseLand Concert, firmly cementing its place as one of the capital’s biggest festive events.
Held at Ghud Park on the night of December 30, the concert attracted thousands of music lovers who braved the late hours to witness a night of high-energy performances, star power and unforgettable moments celebrating Ghanaian music.
The atmosphere remained electric from the opening acts through to the final song, with fans singing along, dancing and lighting up the venue with their phone torches.
Before King Promise mounted the stage at around 1:00 a.m., patrons were treated to an impressive lineup of supporting artistes who delivered back-to-back performances. Black Sherif held the crowd spellbound with his emotionally charged set, as fans sang along to his hit songs word for word.
Rap heavyweight Sarkodie followed with a powerful performance, effortlessly commanding the stage and reminding the audience why he remains one of Africa’s most respected lyricists. Rising star AratheJay injected fresh energy and street vibes into the night, earning loud cheers from the crowd, while KiDi thrilled fans with smooth vocals and crowd-pleasing hits that turned the venue into a massive sing-along.
Other supporting acts, including La Meme Gang, Joey B, GonaBoy and Lalid, also took turns on stage, each adding their unique sound and contributing to the night’s rich musical diversity.
The highlight of the night came when King Promise finally appeared to thunderous applause. Dressed in style and backed by a solid live band, the multiple award-winning singer delivered a nonstop performance of his biggest hits, spanning fan favourites and recent chart-toppers.
His strong stage presence, vocal control and connection with the audience kept the energy high throughout the performance. King Promise performed for nearly four hours, taking fans on a musical journey across his career before officially wrapping up the concert around 5:00 a.m.
The 2025 PromiseLand Concert once again showcased King Promise’s star power and influence in Ghana’s music industry.
