Ghanaian musician Kofi Kinaata says his career continues to benefit from a public endorsement by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

Speaking on BTM Afrika with NY DJ, Kinaata revealed that the King’s recognition has opened doors to new opportunities, including a surge in his streaming figures, social media following, and corporate show bookings.

“Kumasi is becoming a hotspot for me, especially since the endorsement came. The endorsement did a lot for me. It brought in some corporate shows, and my numbers also increased,” the artiste said.

The Asantehene first acknowledged Kinaata in September 2024 during a Ghana Bar Association event, where he praised the musician’s song *Susuka* for its message of gratitude and wisdom. He used the track to highlight the value of local music and the importance of cultivating appreciation and contentment.

Kinaata, who recently performed at Sarkodie’s Rapperholic: The Homecoming Edition* in Kumasi, says the royal endorsement remains a defining moment in his career growth.
