Nigerian singer and dancer based in the United States, Korra Obidi, has taken to GoFundMe to raise money to fight her ex-husband in court.
Obidi is asking the public to help her fight to be given the right to show her children in her online videos to make money.
According to her, her ex-husband has somehow gained the rights to her kids, and therefore whenever she creates a video online with the children in it, he’s able to get Meta (Facebook) to take it down.
Korra said she depends on those videos for her livelihood hence her husband is trying to take it away from her.
However, she said she needs money to pay lawyers to fight her ex-husband to get those rights back hence starting a GoFundMe.
The fundraiser has so far raised close to $45,000 of its $100,000 goal!
