Asante Kotoko beat Berekum Chelsea 1-0 at Tarkwa on Sunday to advance to the final of the MTN FA Cup – a first in eight years.
Albert Amoah scored the all-important goal for the Porcupine Warriors in the 81st minute after creating a ton of chances.
Kotoko are yet to win the FA Cup since beating Hearts of Oak 3-1 in 2017 and are close to achieving a first ever trophy in the competition.
Golden Kick, on the other hand, were 3-1 winners against Attram De Visser, qualifying for their maiden final.
The final of the competition is expected to take place at the University of Ghana on June 15.
