Following a powerful and spirit-filled gathering in Accra just a week earlier, multiple award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician Diana Hamilton has successfully hosted the Kumasi edition of her 2026 Awake Experience, drawing thousands of worshippers to the Bantama Church of Pentecost on Sunday, February 22.

After the massive turnout at ICGC Christ Temple East in Accra, expectations were high for Kumasi, and the fans of the gospel minister did not disappoint. The church auditorium was filled to capacity as gospel music lovers and devoted fans gathered for an evening of intense worship, praise, and spiritual renewal.

Patrons were first treated to a series of powerful ministrations from some of gospel music’s most respected voices. The legendary Tagoe Sisters delivered back-to-back classic hits that stirred nostalgia and joy among the crowd. Veteran gospel minister Elder Mireku then led a heartfelt worship session, ushering the congregation into a deep moment of reflection and reverence.

South African gospel sensation Ntokozo Mbambo also mounted the stage with a soul-lifting ministration that resonated strongly with the audience. Ghanaian gospel musician Joojo Arhin added to the night’s spiritual intensity with a stunning performance that drew loud applause.

The atmosphere reached another level when Diana Hamilton finally stepped onto the stage, adorned in a beautifully beaded and classic kente cloth. The cheers were thunderous as she began ministering powerful worship songs and a selection of her hit tracks, including “Yehowa Behwe Wo,” “Me Nyankopon Papa Bi,” “Nsenkyerene Nyankopon,” and “Meditations,” among many others.
