President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku, has hinted there will be bigger transfer announcements by clubs ahead of Saturday’s Ghana Premier League transfer deadline.

Some clubs seem to have summed up their signings ahead of the 2020/21 season, but others are also waiting to make the headlines on deadline day into the new season which will start on 13th November 2020.

Okraku said clubs are busy trying to beef up their squads, adding, as Ghanaians, we love to do things in the last hour and a few clubs will make “big announcements soon”.

“Our clubs are very busy and naturally, the Ghanaian in quote loves to do late deals, especially in the football industry,” he told Joy Sports.

“Most of the clubs in the Premier League, in Division One, and even in the Women Premier League are very active. I know of a few clubs who will make big announcements soon.”

The biggest deal everybody will look forward to is Asamoah Gyan’s purported move to Legon Cities, which has been confirmed by some media outlets as a done deal.
