The Kutin family of Adansi has announced the passing of Madam Akosua Gyawa Kutin, who died on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, in Adansi Brofoyedru, Ashanti Region, at the age of 100.
Madam Kutin was a revered matriarch, mother of Dr. Rose Mensah-Kutin of ABANTU for Development, and grandmother of Professor Franklyn Manu, the former Rector of GIMPA.
She was also the mother-in-law of Professor Kwame Karikari, former Executive Director of the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA). Details regarding the funeral arrangements will be provided at a later date.
