Coach Kwesi Appiah, the head coach of Ghana’s senior national team has named his 30 man Black Stars Afcon squad (Provisional) to the Normalisation Committee.
Surprisingly, Sulley Muntari who recently pleaded for just 15 minutes playing time in the Black Stars Afcon team was not included in the list.
However, Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan, who many thought was too old and was also getting consistent injuries so he should be omitted, made it on the list.
Young players like Osman Bukari, Majeed Ashimeru, Joseph Paintsil and strikers Kwabena Owusu, Bernard Tekpertey and Dauda Mohammed were named.
