Ghanaian youngster Kwesi Sorotu Badori has completed a move to Italian Serie A side Bologna FC from Berekum Chelsea in one of the biggest transfers in the last few years in the country.

The 18-year-old joins the Red and Blues on loan until the end of the season, with an option to make the deal permanent.

The highly-rated youngster will first link up with Bologna’s U-19 team in the Primavera, where he is expected to continue his development as he works toward earning a place in the senior squad.

Badori leaves Chelsea after making 14 league appearances this season, scoring twice and emerging as one of the brightest talents in the Ghana Premier League.

For now, the forward remains in Ghana as he awaits the completion of his work-permit process before travelling to Italy to begin his new chapter.

His switch to Bologna stands out as one of the biggest transfer moves involving a home-based Ghanaian player in recent years, and he will hope to make a strong impression in Europe.
