A beautiful & young Nigerian lady has been left devastated and heartbroken after her boyfriend of three years stole from her and dumped her.
The lady identified on TikTok with the username Mimi shared a video of herself crying hysterically after losing 6,500,000 naira a little over GHS 52k to her boyfriend.
In the video, Mimi explained that her late mother had left a piece of land for her and her six siblings to manage and use for their needs.
She shared that her lover had already given her a promise ring and introduced her to his parents and so she trusted him with everything she owned.

Her boyfriend convinced her to sell the land to raise money for his visa application, believing that if he was able to land abroad, it would open up opportunities for herself and her siblings.
“We didn’t have anything, and we were so broke that we couldn’t even afford a square meal. So, we decided to sell the only land my late mum left for my siblings”
As the eldest daughter, I felt it was my responsibility. We sold the land for 6.5m naira, and he promised that once he made it abroad, we wouldn’t be broke anymore. I believed him because of the love we shared and the three years we’d been together,” she said.
They made plans, found a buyer, and all the money was deposited into her account. Mimi trusted him with the money and transferred it to his bank account to make his visa application easier.
However, the only money he returned to her was 150,000 naira (GHS 1,200), directing her to use it to buy food and essentials for her siblings.
