Lil Tjay was not involved in the shooting that left former Migos member Offset injured near a Florida casino on Monday.

The 24-year-old rapper’s lawyer, Dawn Florio, issued a statement denying online rumors linking her client to the incident, emphasising that Lil Tjay was neither shot nor charged. “Any reporting to the contrary is false. We encourage people to consult trusted news sources and verify accuracy before sharing or repeating baseless rumors,” she wrote.

The shooting took place at the valet area of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was reportedly taken to Memorial Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and is in stable condition. TMZ reported that the rapper had been interacting with fans and taking photos before the incident occurred.
