Legon Cities appoint Bashir Hayford as head Coach – Ghana Sports Online


Legon Cities have appointed veteran Ghanaian Coach Bashir Hayford.

Hayford’s appointment comes less than 24 hours after the exit of Goran Barjaktarević who was sacked after the team’s 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Great Olympics.

The Club announced the appointment of the former Kotoko and Ashanti Gold Coach.

He will be in charge of the side when they take on Medeama in match-day 3 of the Ghana Premier League on Friday.

Hayford last coached the Somalia National team and has since been without a Club in the last couple of months after leaving his job.

The experienced trainer worked with the Ghanaian women’s senior team( Black Queens) and also had stints with Medeama SC and Ebusua Dwarfs.
