A Nigerian man has been left devastated after a woman he checked into a hotel with in Abuja fled with his car and other valuable belongings.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at a hotel located in the Asokoro area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The married man lodged at the hotel with a young lady identified as Precious Chinyere for what was meant to be a short romantic stay.

Sources say the pair checked into the hotel and paid for a short-term stay. However, events took an unexpected turn later in the evening when the man discovered that Precious had quietly left the room without informing him while he was asleep after the encounter.
Upon realising her absence, the man found that several of his personal items were missing.
These reportedly included his mobile phones, laptop, and his car, which the woman is said to have driven away.
Shocked by the incident, the victim promptly reported the matter to the police. Law enforcement authorities have since launched investigations to locate the suspect and recover the stolen items.
