Marbella FC has strengthened its offensive line with the addition of Ghanaian winger Tahiru Awudu ahead of the upcoming season.
The 24-year-old winger, known for his explosive dribbling and scoring abilities, has signed a one-year contract with the club, with an option for an additional twelve months.
Awudu, who previously played for Medeama SC, joins Marbella from CD Estepona. He is expected to bring some much-needed firepower to Marbella’s attack as the club sets its sights on promotion to the second tier of Spanish football.
The club officially confirmed his arrival, stating, “Marbella Ftbol Club has reached an agreement with the Ghanaian player Tahiru Awudu, who will remain linked to our club until June 30, 2025, with the option of one more season.”
Awudu is no stranger to the Spanish lower divisions, having previously played for CF Fuenlabrada and CD Badajoz. He left Medeama for Spain in 2020, initially joining Alcobendas FC. Over the past two years, he has been with CD Estepona in the Second RFEF, where he scored 5 goals and provided 5 assists in the last league season.
