Former Black Stars assistant coach, Maxwell Konadu, is set to meet the management of Ghana Premier League side, Legon Cities, as they intend to appoint him as head coach of the club.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko fired the ex-Ghana international after a defeat to Great Olympics in week four of the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
He could be set to return to football management soon with the Royals as they plan to hire him to replace veteran Ghanaian coach, Bashir Hayford.
Legon Cities appointed Hayford to steer them to safety in the league in week three after a dismal start with Goran Barjaktarevic, but things are not going as planned.
The club lie 16th on the league log with 23 points after 22 games and are now battling for survival with 12 games to the end of the season.
According to Kumasi-based Pure FM, Konadu is set to meet the management of Legon Cities today or tomorrow, and would prefer to take the job at the end of the season.
Hayford, on the other hand, will be demoted to the U17 side of the side, which is yet to be established as reported by the same source.
