Medeama SC have officially confirmed the departure of midfielder Michael Enu, announcing on Tuesday that both parties have reached a mutual agreement to terminate his contract.

Enu, who joined the Tarkwa-based club in a high-profile move from Gold Stars in December 2023, initially impressed with a series of solid performances that helped stabilize the teams midfield. His early displays showcased his potential and raised expectations for a long-term impact at the club.

However, the 2024-25 season proved challenging for the 26-year-old, as he struggled for consistent game time after falling down the pecking order. Despite having a year remaining on his contract, the club has communicated that his services are no longer required, prompting the amicable decision to part ways.

Medeama SC and midfielder Michael Enu have mutually agreed to part ways. We thank Enu.” the club said in a brief statement

Enu is now a free agent and is expected to seek a fresh start elsewhere, with clubs likely to take interest in his experience and midfield prowess.

His departure marks the end of a short but eventful stint in Tarkwa, as both player and club look ahead to new chapters.
