Medeama SC Chief Executive Officer James Essilfie insists his outfit are firmly on track to achieve a historic domestic double this season.The Yellow and Mauve have been outstanding in the ongoing campaign, combining consistency in both the Ghana Premier League and the Ghana FA Cup.Currently, the Tarkwa-based club sit top of the Premier League table with 46 points and have also progressed to the semi-finals of the FA Cup after triumphing over Attram De Visser Academy over the weekend.Medeama will now lock horns with Dreams FC in the FA Cup semi-finals, with a place in the final at stake.Speaking to Medeamma FM, Essilfie expressed strong confidence in the teams ability to deliver silverware on multiple fronts.We are on course to win a historic double this season. We went through a spell of about five matches where we struggled to score, but I believe that issue has now been resolved. Were now scoring, and we hope that momentum continues for us, he said.With their FA Cup semi-final clash on the horizon, Medeama will also shift focus back to the league as they prepare for a crucial Week 26 encounter against Dreams FC this weekend.
