Popular radio presenter Abdul Karim, widely known in media circles as Nana Romeo, has officially announced his departure from Accra FM 100.5, bringing an end to nearly a decade of broadcasting with the station under the Class Media Group (CMG).

In an emotional Instagram post shared with his followers, Nana Romeo reflected on his journey and expressed heartfelt gratitude to those who played a role in his career at Accra FM.

“As I sit down to write this, it’s hard to believe that the time has come for me to say goodbye to CMG – ACCRA FM 100.5 after close to 10 years of togetherness,” he wrote.

Nana Romeo extended special thanks to Alhaji Seidu Agongo, owner of CMG, and Nana Appeanti, the former General Manager who first recognised and nurtured his talent.

He also expressed appreciation to his colleagues—past and present—and to his loyal listeners and supporters.

“Words aren’t enough to express how I’m feeling right now. It’s been beautiful,” he added.

Although he did not disclose his next destination, Nana Romeo hinted that a big announcement is on the horizon, urging fans to “fasten your seatbelt” as he prepares to reveal his next media home.
