Ghanaian rapper Medikal has made a heartfelt public apology to highlife sensation Kofi Kinaata during his “Beyond Kontrol” concert at the Ghud Park.
The emotional moment unfolded as Medikal expressed regret for missing one of Kofi Kinaata’s past events, an oversight he described as deeply unfortunate.
Taking a break from his electrifying performance, Medikal addressed the crowd and directed his message to Kofi Kinaata, whom he described as “one of my favourite artistes” and someone he holds in high regard. “I respect you a lot, and I want to sincerely apologize for not showing up at your event. It wasn’t intentional,” Medikal said.
In a gesture that highlighted both humility and maturity, Medikal went further to plead with Kofi Kinaata to follow him back on social media, citing their bond as brothers in the music industry.
“Kinaata, you know we’re brothers. Please follow me back on social media. Let’s settle this and move forward,” he added, sparking cheers and applause from the audience.
