The minority members of parliament, led by their leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has donated GH¢200,000 to the victims of the recent Adum fire incident.
The donation made today, Monday April 14 was to assist the victims of the fire which occurred in March and led to the collapse of several businesses.
Afenyo-Markin expressed the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) commitment to aiding the victims in their time of need.
He emphasised the importance of using the funds to help rebuild the businesses that were lost in the fire, ensuring that those affected can start anew.
“The executives of the NPP are committed to helping and this is just the beginning. We will be back after more contributions and donate more,” he said.
