MTN Ghana’s Capital Projects Group has been inducted into the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Global Executive Council, aligning the telecom leader with top global organizations in technology, energy, and healthcare.

The council fosters innovation in project governance and transformation strategies worldwide.

Representing MTN Ghana are Chief Transformation Officer William Tetteh (primary delegate), alongside senior managers Bernard Blewusi Agblevor, Jonas Nanzoninge, Eunice Nelson-Cofie, and Jerry Nyamekye.

Their inclusion follows rigorous evaluation of MTN’s project delivery standards and governance frameworks. PMI’s official statement hailed the move as “a defining moment for Africa,” acknowledging MTN’s role in shaping digital futures.

Membership delivers over $68,000 in 2025 benefits, including executive event access, leadership programs, and technology pilot opportunities.

Tetteh noted the induction validates MTN’s “globally benchmarked” execution capabilities, reinforcing ambitions beyond connectivity into strategic project leadership. The recognition coincides with MTN’s 28-year legacy of advancing Ghana’s digital infrastructure and fintech ecosystems.
