The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has announced a special candlelight procession in memory of late Highlife icon, Dada KD, whose passing has left a deep void in the Ghanaian music fraternity.

Scheduled for Friday, June 20, 2025, the solemn tribute will begin at the Unity Oil station, Achimota Old Station, and conclude at Peace FM at Abeka Junction.

The procession is set to commence at 6:00 PM.

Sympathisers are encouraged to dress in all-black attire or wear customised tribute T-shirts bearing the image or name of the late musician as a sign of respect and unity.

MUSIGA invites fellow musicians, fans, industry stakeholders, and the general public to join in celebrating the life, music, and influence of Dada KD, whose timeless contributions to highlife will continue to inspire generations.

The procession is expected to be a powerful show of solidarity, reflection, and love for one of Ghana’s most soulful musical voices.
