Techiman Eleven Wonders coach, Ignatius Osei-Fosu, has claimed his first-choice goalkeeper, John Mossie is better than all four goalkeepers at Asante Kotoko.
The Porcupine Warriors were the talk of the town when the purchased former Azam FC and Black Stars shot-stopper, Razak Abalora, in the just-closed Ghana transfer window to add to their already rich goalkeeping department.
Kotoko can boost of four potential national team goalkeepers; they have Ghana’s current U-20s goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad, Black Meteors’ Kwame Baah, Felix Annan, who was part of Ghana’s 2019 AFCON squad and Razak Abalora, who’s a member of the Ghana squad to face Sudan in the AFCON qualifiers this week.
Osei-Fosu, however, does not see the class in any of these goalkeepers, saying Kwame Mossie is a better choice to have than the four.
“None of the Asante Kotoko goalkeepers can be compared to John Mossie of Eleven Wonders,” he told Sikka Sports.
Asante Kotoko will host Eleven Wonders on matchday one of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season at the Accra Sports Stadium. Osei-Fosu further stated he’d have a selection headache because of the quality in his squad.
“My team has enough talent than Kotoko and it will be difficult for me to pick my starting eleven.”
