Artiste manager Lawrence Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as Bulldog or Bullgod has mentioned that his issue with the former President is personal and no one can speak him out of it.

In recent times, Bulldog has been on a rampage against Nana Akuffo Addo, to some extent addressing him as ‘nipa fon’ during one of his interviews.

Bulldog in a recent interview on Hitz FM disclosed that his constant attack on the former President is based on the treatment he received during the tenure of the past government.

He recounted that in 2021, he was picked up by operatives of the NIB because he made a comment about Nana Akuffo Addo, adding that he doesn’t understand why people would have issue with his constant rant and attack on the former President.

“I don’t understand why people say I’ve been insulting the former president. Those are not insults; those are opinions.

“For me and him, my issue is personal. His campaign was mostly begging, and he had no real message. For someone like that, it is hard for me to respect him because he does not respect anyone. He doesn’t deserve it, and anyone who says otherwise must see things differently,” he said.

Bullgod also criticized Akufo-Addo for showing contempt to the people, especially to traditional leaders, which irritated him.

“In front of everyone, you tell a sitting chief of a community to get up before they can give you the respect you think you deserve is unacceptable. For chiefs to gather and come meet you at your office, the office they put you in.

“For you to go to Akosombo when the flood happened and say, ‘I don’t know why I’m here; you didn’t vote for me,’ I can’t understand how we are supposed to respect such a person,” he stated.

The outspoken entertainment pundit added, “If you treat someone a certain way, the same will happen to you,” he added.

He went on to say that he was disappointed that the learned former president would act in such a manner.
