Renowned Ghanaian actress and TV host, Nana Ama McBrown, has spoken out about the recent incident involving Bullgod, an artist manager, who attempted to kiss her at Stonebwoy’s Up & Runnin album party. The unexpected moment, which has stirred significant social media chatter, was described by McBrown as surprising but ultimately harmless.
Reflecting on the incident, McBrown described her initial reaction. “I wasn’t expecting that. Was he really going to kiss me like that?” She explained that Bullgod’s actions were driven by excitement. “He was just excited to see me, and we hadn’t seen each other in a while. Although I was shocked, I won’t fault him. Bullgod is the type who likes to joke around, and I believe the kiss attempt was harmless,” she shared.
When asked what she would have done if the kiss had actually happened, McBrown said she would have reacted calmly. “If he had kissed me, I would’ve quickly pulled back and said, ‘Ah!’ But I wouldn’t get mad at him. Even though it’s not allowed, it would’ve happened already, and at that moment, there was nothing I could do about it. Maybe later, I would have pleaded with him not to do that again.”
McBrown emphasized that there is no romantic or sexual relationship between her and Bullgod, dismissing any misconceptions. “We don’t have anything sexual going on. He just likes to play. I don’t see anything wrong with it, but society will talk about these things. Bullgod is someone who respects me a lot. I don’t know if I’m older than him or if he’s older than me, but he treats me like a goddess,” she said.
McBrown further addressed general misconceptions about her interactions with men in the entertainment industry. “I’m like a sister to all men. I used to play soccer, so I used to associate with men more than women. I don’t sleep with people I work with because the moment sex enters the equation, the working relationship ends,” she clarified.
