Nana Kwesi Otuboah I of Kasoa Kwao Mensah Krom has called on political parties, particularly the NDC and NPP, as well as the Electoral Commission (EC), to prioritize the welfare of Ghana ahead of personal interests.

Speaking ahead of the crucial December 7 elections, Nana Otuboah emphasized the need for all stakeholders to lower political tensions to ensure peace during this pivotal time for the nation’s democracy.

His remarks come amid rising tensions, as the opposition NDC has accused the EC of illegally transferring voter names and is demanding a forensic audit.

In contrast, the NPP has rejected this request, urging the EC to remain steadfast.

In light of these developments, Nana Otuboah I has urged the EC to act judiciously and impartially, advocating for decisions that are in the best interest of Ghana.
