A concerned Ghanaian citizen, Kwadwo Atta Apeakorang, has formally petitioned the National Security Coordinator to curb the social media activities of Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, widely known as Nana Agradaa, due to her ongoing dissemination of offensive and inflammatory content online.
In a letter dated May 23, 2025, Mr. Apeakorang voiced alarm over Nana Agradaa’s actions, which he claims undermine public morality and threaten national peace and unity.
He accused her of using platforms like Facebook and TikTok to spread unverified claims, insult public figures, and share rhetoric that risks destabilizing social harmony.
The petition emphasises Nana Agradaa’s large following amplifies the potential harm of her unregulated online presence.
Mr. Apeakorang has called on the National Security Secretariat, in collaboration with the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) and the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), to restrict her social media activities and monitor her communications closely.
The petition was also sent to the Minister of Interior, the Inspector-General of Police, and the heads of the NIB and CID, underscoring its urgency and significance.
