NPP’s Henry Nana Boakye has taken to his official Facebook page to write about his displeasure at the arrest of media personality Okatakyie Afrifa.
This comes after it was speculated barely 24 hours ago that the media personality had been arrested by National security for investigation.
While many thought it was a public stunt, many believe there was an iota of truth in the speculation.
Taking to his official Facebook page, Henry Nana Boakye known on screen as Nana B confirmed the arrest of Okatakyie Afrifa.
Expressing his disappointment, Nana B wrote “We have just left the premises of National security. And it is very disappointing to say that the arrest of Okatakyie Afrifa by National security operatives after his exams this evening was completely unnecessary and unwarranted”.

He went on to add that by the Grace of God and the effort of some people, the media personality had been released.
In his words, he said, “Thanks to the efforts of several individuals who intervened, he has been released”.
Meanwhile, Nana B does not see any sense in the arrest of Okatakyie Afrifa for being outspoken as he asked the National Security to get prepared because sooner or later, they will be arresting all of them.

He said, “Free speech cannot be suppressed under the guise of an investigation. If that is the case, then National security should be prepared to arrest all of us”.
