Concerns have been raised about Benjamin Tetteh‘s season at Hull City as he suffered what appears to be a hamstring injury in a Championship game on Saturday.

The 25-year-old limped off clutching to his hamstring with Oscar Estupinan taking his place and eventually scoring the opener for the Tigers.

Tetteh’s season, in a nutshell, was summed up after 24 minutes when he chased a ball down inside the Sky Blues box, only to pull up holding his right hamstring.

This is another significant injury blow for the former Yeni Malatyspor forward who spoke only on Thursday of his relief at getting fit again after so long out injured.

Hull manager Liam Rosenior has admitted losing Tetteh to another hamstring injury is devastating for both him and Hull City, as the club faces an anxious wait to find out its severity.

The Ghana international broke down barely 20 minutes into the 1-1 draw at Coventry City clutching his hamstring.
