Ghanaian side, Nsoatreman Football Club has indicated that it has utmost confidence in new head coach Yaw Preko.
The Ghana Premier League side on Thursday, July 4, announced the new appointment, less than 48 hours after head coach Maxwell Konadu left his post.
“Nsoatreman Football Club is glad to announce that an agreement has been reached with Mr. Yaw Preko on a two-year mandate to take over as the new Head Coach of the Club!
“Welcome to Amanaso, Coach Preko,” an official club statement from Nsoatreman FC said.
In the statement, the club said Yaw Preko is the perfect fit in terms of philosophy and the project the club is embarking on.
“The 49-year-old is a perfect fit for the Nsoatreman philosophy and project, considering his track record in developing young players!
“We are excited to welcome him with his tremendous wealth of experience, Passion, and expertise to our great Club,” Nsoatreman FC said.
Yaw Preko begins work immediately and will be expected to train a side that can do well in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary stage to have the chance of making it to the group stage.
