Heart of Lions head coach, Bashir Hayford, has refrained from making any predictions ahead of his team’s clash with Accra Hearts of Oak.
“Going into the Accra Hearts of Oak game, it is our own field. With that in mind, we are going to play our game. So I don’t want to predict. Hearts of Oak is not a small team,” Hayford told Peace FM, as monitored by Footballghana.com
Heart of Lions will host Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday, September 15, 2024, in their second Ghana Premier League match at the Kpando Sports Stadium.
The Lions come into the game after a 1-1 draw away at Aduana FC, while the Phobians suffered a surprise 1-0 defeat at home to Basake Holy Stars.
Heart of Lions, undefeated in their last two home games, will be looking to capitalize on Accra Hearts of Oak’s inconsistent form, with the Phobians losing three of their last six matches.
