NPP Beats NDC In Youth Employment – Hon Alex Djonouboah Tetteh

Members of the New Patriotic Party in the Sefwi Akontombra Constituency, led by Hon Alex Djonouboah Tetteh, the second Deputy Majority Whip in parliament, engaged in a massive Health Walk which saw thousands of the constituents participating from Sefwi Nkwadum to Sefwi Nzawora.

Dignitaries like Hon Martha Kwayie Manu, the Deputy CEO of the Forestry Commission, Hon. Yawson Amoah, the DCE of the Sefwi Akontombra Constituency, Addo Harry, the Regional Communication Officer, Regional Youth Organizer, Nana Brenya De, Prince of Sefwi Wiawso Traditional Area and others graced the event.

According to Hon Alex Djonouboah Tetteh, when he first became the MP, he noticed that the Sefwi Akontombra constituency had only two police officers posted to the area from 1992 to 2016. He boasted that the NPP, through good governance, police visibility has improved. He also praised the government for creating more job opportunities to reduce youth unemployment in Ghana, particularly the Sefwi Akontombra Constituency.

He continued, “The NDC government has nothing good to offer Ghanaians because former President John Dramani Mahama failed to deliver on his mandate to the people when he had his turn to be president before handing over power to the Akufo-Addo and Bawumia government. If reelected as president, he will fail again dismally.”

He said although the NDC parliamentary candidate in the Sefwi Akontombra Constituency claimed to be creating employment opportunities for the people in the various institutions, no one feels the impact, except him.

He said that the NDC candidate’s tenure as a District Chief Executive (DCE) during former president John Mahama’s era, was embroiled in controversies, including allegations of diverting cylinders for sale, meant to be delivered to the institutions in the constituency.

Hon. Martha Kwayie Manu also lauded the NPP for being the best-performing government compared to the NDC and urged Ghanaians to be vigilant in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary election, protect the ballot boxes, and elect Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia the next president of Ghana.
