The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has extended a helping hand to the bereaved family of Christian Atsu.

The Ghanaian footballer passed away following the earthquake that rocked Turkey and Syria.

The NPP delegation, led by its General Secretary Justin Frimpong-Kodua, visited the Atsu’s family to express their condolences and donated GH₵10,000 to assist with preparations for the one-week anniversary of the former Premier League star.

Atsu had a successful career, playing in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil and four African Cup of Nations tournaments, making 65 appearances and scoring 9 goals for the Black Stars between 2012 and 2019.
