Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate for the 2024 elections, will file his nomination papers on September 9, 2024.
The unity within the NPP is evident as his running mate, key campaign team members, and senior party executives will all be present at the event, marking a strong and united front.
Following the nomination filing, Dr Bawumia will visit the NPP headquarters to engage with party officials and provide updates on the campaign.
The governing NPP is not just optimistic about its prospects in the upcoming elections, but also deeply committed to Ghana’s development, arguing that its track record provides a more reliable path than the opposition’s.
The party’s leadership is confident and deeply convinced that their achievements in office contrast favourably with their rivals’ records, positioning them as the preferable choice for the nation’s future.
