NPP To Hold Ejisu By-Election On April 13 | Politics

The New Patriotic Party(NPP) has announced the timeline to hold the by-election in the Ejisu Constituency.

This follows the death of the incumbent Member of Parliament, Dr John Kumah who died on March 7, 2024, at age 45 after a short illness.

A press release signed by the General Secretary of NPP, Justin Kodua Frimpong on March 29, 2024, said, the by-election will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024.

Meanwhile, the opening of nominations will commence on Tuesday, April 2 and close on Thursday, April 4, 2023.

“An Aspiring Parliamentary Candidate (APC) shall procure nomination forms after the payment of a non-refundable application fee of GHc3,000.00 in Bankers Draft in favour of the New Patriotic Party National Headquarters, Accra.

“To successfully file the nomination, an APC shall pay a non-refundable filing fee of thirty-five thousand Ghana Cedis (GHc35, 000.00) in Bankers Draft in favour of the New Patriotic Party National Headquarters, Accra”, the release added.
