Okyeame Kwame Finds Father after 20 Years in Bolgatanga (Video)

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian musician, Kwame Nsiah-Apau, known in public space as Okyeame Kwame, after paying a courtesy call on the Chief of Bongo, known as His Royal Highness Bonaba Baba Salifu Lamyaarum, in the Bongo District, in Bolgatanga has been named the “Prince” of Bongo.

The Chief of Bongo, also gave Okyeame Kwame a customized Smock to welcome the celebrated musician at his palace, on Wednesday, October 21. The renowned rapper visited the area to embark in a project for some communities in the area, with Water Aid Foundation.

In a short video already trending on Social Media, Okyeame Kwame expressed his gratitude to the Chief for his heartfelt reception, as he promised to take him as his new father, after losing his dad two decades ago.

The Chief of Bongo, His Royal Highness Bonaba Baba also voiced out his utmost joy of gratefulness to Okyeame Kwame, and his management team who visited him in his palace, and later prayed and blessed him afterwards.
