The Chairman of the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has revealed significant developments in the investigation of looted state assets allegedly linked to former government officials.

Mr. Ablakwa, who also serves as the North Tongu MP, disclosed that the team has gathered compelling evidence pointing to the misappropriation of state resources by appointees of the previous administration. This evidence is expected to be presented to President John Dramani Mahama for further action.

Several weeks ago, President Mahama established the high-powered investigative team, which includes notable figures such as Nathan Kofi Boakye, Martin Kpebu, Raymond Archer, and Daniel Domelevo. Their mandate involves probing allegations of state capture and asset mismanagement.

Addressing reporters in the Eastern Region, Mr Ablakwa commended the team’s progress and underscored their unwavering dedication to ensuring justice is served.

He emphasized that the team will maintain confidentiality regarding their achievements until they formally submit their findings to the President.
