Ghanaian fashion icon and internet sensation Richard Brown, popularly known as Osibo or The Zaraman, has dismissed claims that he leveraged the fame of his baby mama, celebrated media personality Nana Aba Anamoah, to gain popularity.
In an exclusive interview with GhanaWeekend, The Zaraman made it clear that he was already a popular figure in the entertainment and creative arts industry long before meeting Nana Aba.
He pointed out that social media wasn’t as dominant back in the day, which may have led to public misconceptions about his rise to fame.
“When I met Nana Aba, she was nobody,” he stated, emphasising that his influence in the industry predates their connection and eventually intimate relationship.
Osibo also revealed that he has not seen Nana Aba in person for a long time and only catches glimpses of her on television.
However, he remained tight-lipped when he was asked whether he has a relationship with their son.
Despite their history, Osibo maintained that there is no bad blood between them.
“If I see her, I will definitely stop and greet her,” he added.
