The management of Ghanaian musician Patapaa, known for his viral hit “One Corner,” has released a statement condemning ongoing defamation against the artiste and threatening legal action against the perpetrators.

The strongly worded press statement, released on June 5, 2025, expressed deep disappointment over persistent negative comments made both privately and publicly, which they say are damaging to the Patapaa brand.

A recent example cited is a video of him dancing at a funeral, which has been mocked by some netizens.

One Corner Management emphasised their commitment to protecting the artiste’s reputation, stating that they will pursue legal action against anyone who continues to defame Patapaa.

The statement also highlighted their belief in divine support, asserting that the “Almighty Creator of the Universe” will continue to uplift the artiste despite malicious efforts to undermine him.

Management further called for positivity, urging individuals to focus on developing their own talents rather than criticising others. Describing the notice as a “final warning,” they reaffirmed their dedication to safeguarding Patapaa’s legacy as a unique creative force in Ghana’s music scene.

Patapaa, whose real name is Justice Amoah, rose to fame in 2017 with “One Corner,” which sparked a global dance craze.
